Evening flashlight tour

Equipped with flashlights, the fascinating world of birds is explored, and questions such as: How do migratory birds orient themselves during their night flights? This and many other exciting questions will be answered during the evening stroll through the exhibition. The new exhibition at the Wadden Sea Visitor Center on Wilhelmshaven's South Beach has much to offer, such as the unique sperm whale skeleton, a lifelike replica of the salt marshes, and a fantastic view over the Jade Bay from the rooftop terrace. On the third floor of the visitor center, everything revolves around the migratory birds in the UNESCO World Heritage Wadden Sea. Equipped with flashlights, the fascinating world of birds is explored, and questions are clarified: How do migratory birds orient themselves during their night flights? And how do they sleep on their long migratory journeys? What do they do when their food is only accessible at night?
