Special Opening: Winter Bloom in the Park

The witch hazels (botanically: Hamamelis) are particularly splendid. In the park, there is a collection of over 30 different witch hazels and other winter-blooming plant treasures, as well as a large assortment of Christmas roses (botanically: Helleborus). Of course, the corresponding plant sale is also a must. Annual passes for 2026 can be purchased directly at the cash register on this day. The park's gastronomy will be open. The playgrounds are only partially usable due to weather conditions. Walkers, wheelchairs, and wagons cannot be rented on this day.

Program from 9:30 AM to 4 PM:
- Sale of Hamamelis, Helleborus, and other winter plant beauties
- 11 AM and 2 PM: Guided tours "Winter-Blooming Plant Beauties" with Holger Konrad (Baumschule Sandstede, Bad Zwischenahn) and Olaf Schachtschneider (Pflanzenhof Schachtschneider, Dötlingen-Aschenstedt)
- 11 AM and 2 PM: Tour "Floral Winter Arrangements" with Silke Roeseler (Blumen Klefer, Augustfehn)
- 1 PM to 4 PM: Advice on all garden questions, Lower Saxony Garden Academy
