Scotland - 4,000 km by bike through Cornwall and Scotland

In 2024 and 2025, the travel journalist from Braunschweig cycled almost 4,000 km by bike between Land's End in Cornwall and the Scandinavian-influenced Shetland Islands in the far north of Scotland. The first third features images and films from Cornwall and the southern English coast. A special highlight is the Mediterranean-like Isles of Scilly, which, located southwest of the English coast in the middle of the sea, impress with lush vegetation and fantastic beaches. After that, the journey continues up to Scotland, where the Highlands and especially the island worlds of the Hebrides, Orkney, and Shetland Islands will captivate everyone with their diverse landscapes. Of course, the Highland Games, insights into the charming quirks of the Scots, and impressions of the unique capital Edinburgh are also included. The multimedia show will be presented, as always, in a relaxed, live, and informative manner. The audience will also receive valuable tips for their own travels.
