The most famous wooden puppet in the world comes to life: Pinocchio! Full of curiosity, a thirst for adventure, and sometimes quite impulsive, he sets out to discover the world. Along the way, he finds himself in exciting, funny, but also dangerous situations – and must learn what friendship, courage, and honesty truly mean. Authors Sarah Speiser and Jennifer Traum tell the classic story in a fresh, humorous, and touching way for both children and adults. The specially composed live music by Ferdinand von Seebach makes Pinocchio's adventures a captivating experience full of imagination and emotion. Against the unique backdrop of the collegiate church, a colorful, poetic open-air theater emerges for the whole family – full of magic, music, and joy of play. A piece that enchants both young and old alike and reminds us that sometimes we must take detours to find our own path.
