Day trips with the SWAENSBORGH

Experience a spring day sail on the impressive sailing vessel SWAENSBORGH on May 1st and 2nd from 10 AM to 4 PM. Even sailing novices will quickly be captivated by the feeling of being carried across the sea solely by the power of the wind. The magnificent three-masted schooner SWAENSBORGH was originally built as a two-masted schooner in 1907 and has been extended and remodeled twice over the years. On deck, there are plenty of seating options, some of which are even covered. The interior of the ship was completely renovated in the winter of 2016/17, further enhancing comfort. The large bar area in the deckhouse is particularly impressive. One level down, there is a spacious salon with two long tables, connected to a well-equipped kitchen.

No sailing experience is required. The dedicated crew is happy to introduce guests to sailing on this traditional sailing ship, allowing them to quickly get a feel for it. The price includes a midday stew, coffee/tea, and a piece of cake. Additional drinks are available for purchase on board. When passing through the sea lock, both outgoing and incoming, waiting times are unavoidable. The ship's management reserves the right to use motor power in case of poor wind or weather conditions.
