Sietländer Boat Festival

On Ascension Day, the marketplace next to the Old Main School by the Medem transforms into a colorful fairground: The clubs and associations of the Ihlienworth community invite everyone to the traditional Sietland Boat Festival. The festivities begin at 1:30 PM with an open-air church service, accompanied by the festive music of the brass choir. At 2:00 PM, the official opening of the Boat Festival takes place, followed by dance groups showcasing their performances starting at 2:20 PM, and the popular Sietland boat rides commence. The tombola with many great prizes also adds to the excitement. At 3:00 PM, the canoe relay race will provide some sporty fun, with the winners being honored around 4:15 PM.
