Tinkering Theater on Juist: Making a lot out of little. Making a lot out of nothing. In the Tinkering Theater, Helle and Leum create the incredible from an empty box for Helle's birthday. The stage transforms into outer space, and the young audience becomes astronauts. The Tinkering Theater draws out creative ideas from the children's minds and encourages them to participate actively. Sustainable Living on Juist: Because sustainability starts with the youngest: The Children's University "Sustainable Living" has been around for years. Every year in July and August, a variety of exciting lectures and hands-on activities take place. All of them are aimed at children and introduce them to all thoughts surrounding sustainability. Sometimes it’s about ocean waste, sometimes about the earth beneath our feet, about children's rights, and much more.
