With a smooth voice, a stuffed trumpet, and a charmingly swinging jazz guitar, the Casanovas of the North German lowlands, Hans Torge Bollert and Olaf Klindtwort, present their show "The Men Are Already Worth the Love...". A true feast for the eyes and ears, not just for the ladies!
With daring stylistic and temporal leaps, Bidla Buh intones their very own brand of humor. The two full-blooded musicians take a parodic approach to gramophone classics, transform various pop works into nostalgic songs, and let sharp-witted, thought-provoking chansons ring out.
Of course, BIDLA BUH evergreens like the Low German "Rund um de Klock" by Bill Haley, the cream-puff-choking "Aber bitte mit Sahne," or the Roaring Twenties version of the Beatles are not to be missed. Hans Torge whistles famous opera classics as a musical jack-of-all-trades and raves about the charms of the fairer sex during a lascivious bosom blues, while the smooth-talker Ole languidly boasts of his own seduction skills and ultimately reveals himself to be averse to marriage.
The duo program by BIDLA BUH showcases the full dynamic range from flamboyantly virtuosic music comedy to very quiet moments, such as the dreamily tender chanson "Barbara" by Georg Kreisler.
