The Historical Cemetery – Stories Between the Graves How did the relocation of the Melle burial sites from the city center come about? This tour takes you to the cemetery, which was opened in 1842 and became the final resting place for numerous notable individuals from Melle over many decades. Among old tombstones and listed architecture, you will learn more about significant citizens, religious tensions, and the goal of preserving this place as a cultural site for future generations.
