Much Ado About Nothing 2026 - Comedy by William Shakespeare

For the 30th anniversary of the Pyrmont Theater Company, there is this Shakespeare comedy, where tension and comedy continually intertwine. It begins cheerfully: Don Pedro, the Prince of Aragon, returns to the house of Leonato, the governor of Messina, along with his friends Claudio and Benedick. While Leonato's quick-witted niece Beatrice engages in witty verbal duels with her male counterpart Benedick, Claudio falls in love with Hero, Leonato's daughter. She reciprocates his love, and nothing seems to stand in the way of their wedding—until a wicked intrigue gives the whole situation a dramatic twist, which also involves Beatrice and Benedick and ultimately calls two overwhelmed constables into action...
