Haydn Orchestra Hamburg

Playing good music at a high level – that is the goal set by our symphony orchestra. And with pride, the orchestra knows it is very close to achieving this goal: it is now one of the leading non-professional orchestras in Northern Germany. This is partly due to the excellent work of conductor Rida Murtada, who has been leading the Haydn Orchestra since 2003, as well as to Ms. Prof. Gisela Jahn (1983-1993, now deceased) and Prof. Gerd Müller-Lorenz (1993-2002), who have significantly shaped the orchestra. Additionally, it is also because, in recent years, more and more new, ambitious musicians have been joining the orchestra, as it has become known how focused the rehearsals are and how dedicated the preparation for the concerts is. The program will be announced at a later date. Ticket sales will be handled by Munster Touristik.
