Art Barn - Moments of Joy

Cosima Weidenbach works as a freelance artist in Wunstorf alongside her main profession. Her paintings captivate with their intensity of color and joyfulness. The joy of experimentation in the creative process is at the forefront. As a self-taught artist, she combines acrylics, watercolors, pastels, gouache, pigments, wax, fabric, and charcoal into surprising compositions. Her favorite color is "colorful," and her works are powerful and versatile. She has refined her technique through numerous courses and has delighted a wide audience in many group and solo exhibitions.

Beate Sperling lives and works in Lauenau in the Schaumburg region. As a self-taught artist with a deep sensitivity to the beauty of creation, she has been dedicated to painting since 2011 and has presented her works in numerous solo and group exhibitions. In 2024, she will deepen her artistic practice through an online art study program. Her diverse paintings tell stories of expansiveness, tranquility, and peace – touching the soul. She combines acrylic-based techniques with oil pastels, ink, and collage papers made from her own printed papers. Her works are characterized by a special complexity – glazes and light reflections give them depth and vibrancy.

The exhibition of both artists is an invitation to view the world with open eyes and a receptive heart, savoring beautiful moments. Their works invite contemplation and wonder. Additionally, visitors have the opportunity to become creatively active at an action table. The exhibition is open on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 11 AM to 5 PM. It is worth a visit.
