The city is not a forest. And yet, many trees live here among the houses and along the streets. We humans intentionally plant them so that they can fulfill various tasks for us. We get a brief overview of numbers and facts before we personally encounter different trees in Damme. On the exciting walk through the city center from the town hall to Viktor Cathedral, we gain insight into the lives of urban trees and the challenges they face in their unique locations. Who actually takes care of these trees? And why are there so many of a particular tree species in Damme? When we view the city from a tree's perspective, we understand the contributions these living beings make for us and learn what we can do to support urban greenery.
