Petra Meier (née Mönkemöller) - Artist of the Sea Born in 1967 in Bielefeld, Petra Mönkemöller discovered her passion for art early on and has continuously developed it. Her works, characterized by maritime motifs, particularly sailboats, are created on original sailcloth and bring the fascination of the sea into living spaces, offices, and holiday apartments. Artistic Career Petra began her artistic journey with VHS courses from 1987 to 1996, where she engaged intensively with drawing, watercolor painting, and various painting techniques. Under the guidance of instructors such as Birgit Stüwe, Sabine Wenig, and Gilbert Bender, she deepened her skills in areas such as still life, figure drawing, and landscape painting. Between 2010 and 2012, she participated in the Summer Academy and completed courses with Pavel Richtr in free painting in acrylic as well as with Tine Schumann in watercolor and ink. Opening hours: Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays from 11 AM to 5 PM Admission is free – an experience for the whole family!
