1x1 of Fruit Tree Pruning

Caring for fruit trees involves skilled pruning. In our beginner seminar, we cover everything essential about fruit tree pruning in home gardens and orchards, both theoretically and practically: reasons for pruning fruit trees, timing of cuts, tree anatomy, structure of the fruit tree crown, proper cutting techniques, and useful tools. We start with an engaging and informative presentation. During the following short breakfast break, we will provide cold and hot beverages. (Please feel free to bring your own snack if needed.) After that, we will encounter the fruit trees in the garden. After a brief introduction, everyone will have the opportunity to try pruning themselves. By doing, we understand what we have learned. If time allows, we will also give interested participants an insight into the process of grafting fruit trees.
