28th Ball of Sports

On Saturday, February 28, 2026, the athletes of Schaumburg will celebrate their successes at a grand party starting at 8 PM – and this will be the fourth time in a row at the Wandelhalle Bad Nenndorf. "Ticket sales will open on December 4, 2025. In the past, we have always had a sold-out event, and our 28th event will be no different. Based on experience, tickets sell out quickly, as the Sports Ball remains a social highlight!" says chief organizer Reinhard Stemme.

The decoration team led by Uwe Kaschel will transform the Wandelhalle into a ballroom in line with the established theme. The organizers have secured the top live band SUNRISE and DJ Marco Kosse. The top musicians will ensure great sound, an outstanding atmosphere, and a packed dance floor. Additional show acts are planned, and an attractive tombola will round off the program. The gastronomy will be in the trusted hands of Benjamin Lotz, managing director of the Kur- und Tourismusgesellschaft Staatsbad Nenndorf.

A qualified jury will select an athlete, a sportswoman, a team, and three volunteers of the year prior to the event. The sports clubs in Stadthagen are requested to submit their own suggestions by January 15, 2026. The chairman of the support association, Reinhard Stemme, and Uwe Kläfker, sports editor of Schaumburger Nachrichten, will prepare the jury meeting.

Admission costs 20 euros per person. Ticket pre-sales will be conducted through the Schaumburger Nachrichten office in Stadthagen, the Kur- und Tourismusgesellschaft Staatsbad Nenndorf, the office of the Postsportverein, and the actively participating sports clubs.

Free Shuttle Bus on Event Day
Reinhard Stemme points out that on the day of the event, two free shuttle buses will be available for transfer to Bad Nenndorf, departing from the Festplatz Stadthagen at 7:30 PM. Bus transfers back to Stadthagen are scheduled for 1:30 AM and 3:00 AM from the Wandelhalle. For planning purposes, Reinhard Stemme requests a casual registration via email at dirk mangold@gmx.de.
