Dining Among Friends

"Dining Among Friends" – this is the offer for older people that the Wietzendorf Senior Advisory Board presents. Since 2022, the catering service Hüsen has been providing a seasonal menu in a home-style on the Peetshof in Wietzendorf every second Wednesday of the month at 12:30 PM (doors open at 12 PM). Beverages are also offered. A binding registration is necessary by calling (05196) 2126 with the Drewes family. In particular, older individuals over 60 are given the opportunity to escape loneliness, revive old connections, or make new ones through a shared meal. Members of the Senior Advisory Board are available for conversations and are happy to receive suggestions that could improve the lives of older people in the village. If health reasons prevent someone from attending this meeting point, the Senior Advisory Board provides a free transportation service.
