This is a section of the European "Road of Peace." Here, a cross-border art project in public space has been realized based on an idea by the painter and sculptor Otto Freundlich. The tour lasts about 2.5 hours. Start: 2 PM at the parking lot of the Union Sports Club, Friedrich-Ebert-Straße 111, 38259 Salzgitter-Bad. Cost: 4 euros per person, payable on site; registration is requested. Sturdy footwear is always required for the exploration, as the sculptures are anchored in nature, partly on uneven ground. The total of 10 artworks will be presented in various sections and stages throughout the southern part of the city.
