The sculpture trail is part of the European "Road of Peace." Here, a cross-border public art project has been realized based on an idea by the painter and sculptor Otto Freundlich. The tour lasts about 4 hours. Start: 1 PM at the parking lot of the Union Sports Club, Friedrich-Ebert-Straße 111, 38259 Salzgitter-Bad. Cost: 5 euros per person, payable on-site, registration is requested. Sturdy footwear is always required for the exploration, as the sculptures are set in nature, partly on uneven ground. Various sections and stages will present a total of 10 artworks in the southern part of the city. With the expected magnificent autumn foliage, there will be a grand autumn walk, including along the golf course, where numerous sculptures can be discovered.
