Exhibitors and information booths from local associations present handicrafts, regional specialties, honey products such as honey candies, mead, beeswax candles, and honey soap, among many others. Music and walk acts create a lively atmosphere, and for the little ones, the children's area around St. Jakobi Church offers plenty of fun, interactive activities, and a children's flea market. Another highlight is the crowning of the "Wietzendorf Honey of the Year" on Sunday. The honey festival stands for tradition and community, and even more for a fantastic festive weekend in Wietzendorf.
