Music journalist Maik Pagels, currently the music editor at Radio Bremen, and concert pianist Andreas Oesterling take the audience on an entertaining journey through four centuries of music history. They demonstrate how sound, commerce, and culture have changed over time. This exploration includes not only great names like Bach, Mozart, or Taylor Swift, but also individuals from the background, innovations, societal developments, and media strategies that continue to shape music consumption in the Western world today. Andreas Oesterling interprets works from classical, jazz, and pop on the piano, thereby connecting words with musical experiences.
