Get off the couch – Get out into nature: Trash collection campaign in the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park.

With autumn, not only do the leaves fall from the trees, but tides, wind, and rivers also wash a lot of trash onto our shores. Among the items found here are plastic bottles, nets, packaging, balloons, and much more. That's why we invite you: Get off the couch and into nature! Join us in collecting trash along the dike to protect our animals and our environment while enjoying the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park. During the cleanup event, you will also receive many exciting insights about the national park and its inhabitants during a walk and talk with one of our certified Wadden Sea guides. After the work is done and a short self-guided walk, there will be cookies and hot drinks at the National Park House, where you can reflect on the work done and the impressions gained. Dogs on a leash are warmly welcome. Registration: via email, phone, online, or in person. Equipment: Please remember to wear warm, windproof clothing, gloves, and sturdy footwear. If available, please bring a grabber. Accessibility note: The excursion of about 3 km takes place on paved paths.
