People in Bohmte - We belong together!

Our traditional integration festival "People in Bohmte - We Belong Together!" will take place again this year on Sunday, May 31, 2026, from 12:00 PM to approximately 5:00 PM at the train station square in Bohmte. For over 30 years, this special festival has brought together people from different backgrounds and has made a strong statement for peaceful coexistence. Especially in today's times, where social cohesion and mutual understanding are more important than ever, we want to make a statement with this festival. It shows how enriching diversity can be and that respectful and friendly interactions are the foundation for a strong community. As usual, the participating nations will present the culinary specialties of their home countries at their booths – because good food connects people and invites for shared exchanges! A varied stage program featuring music and dance performances from different cultures will provide excellent entertainment. Numerous clubs, institutions such as schools and church communities, action groups, and dedicated individuals contribute their efforts to ensure that the festival remains a place of encounter and togetherness. Their commitment is an important contribution to peaceful coexistence in our community – for this, we extend our heartfelt thanks! The multicultural integration festival has long been a staple in Bohmte's event calendar. The municipality of Bohmte organizes it in close collaboration with the Cultural Association Bohmte e.V. and the Business Association Bohmte e.V. Celebrate with us! We look forward to your visit!
