For 45 years, the eleven-member orchestra has been one of the most renowned salsa formations in Germany. With more than 1,200 concerts both domestically and internationally, "Havana" has repeatedly proven its reputation as a "flagship for hot music." The band, led by pianist and composer Kurt Klose, brings together top musicians from the German Latino scene. Captivating vocals by Rey Valencia and Sabine Wucherpfennig, virtuosic solos, and a dynamic sound ensemble of percussion, brass, bass, piano, and guitar create a vibrant salsa spectacle. The stylistic range extends from mambo and rumba to cha-cha-cha, bolero, and bomba, all the way to plena and Latin soul.
