With his program, cabaret artist Gerd Normann deliberately plays with the primal fears of his audience. It is not the fear of climate catastrophe or the best friend of one's wife, but the fear of suddenly having no money. Bankruptcy, bad investments, theft, divorce – there are many reasons to wake up one day without money. Gerd Normann lets Willi & Lisbeth, the protagonists of his successful marriage cabaret, slide into a financial crisis from which they try to escape with a lot of humor and creativity. To fill their pension gap, they decide to become active in the fields of small arts and humor, which can indeed be two very different things, and they form the cabaret duo "Hessen auf Rädern!" Gerd Normann takes a wonderfully self-ironic look at the German humor scene.
