Moorbahn Family / Children's Ride

On the 135-minute tour, you will get to know the Ahlenmoor. This ride is particularly suitable for families with children, holiday pass activities, visitors with disabilities, etc. The moor train drivers specifically engage with the children. All senses are utilized: smelling, feeling, tasting, seeing, and hearing. Here, you can learn about the moor in a fun and relaxed manner. At four stops with thematically different focuses, you will discover exciting and interesting facts, historical and current information about the moor in an entertaining way. Registration for groups of 12 or more can be made at Tel. 04778 81200. We also have seats available for guests in wheelchairs. In this case, you must register with us in advance via email (mooriz@ahlenmoor.de) or by phone at 04757-8189558, as we need to prepare these specially. Unfortunately, online ticketing is not possible in this case! Dogs are not allowed on the moor train! In extreme weather conditions, cancellations may occur.
