How can I transition to a heat pump for my building? What requirements must my house meet, and how can I finance the transition? Answers to these questions will be provided at the Heat Pump Information Day on Friday, February 13, starting at 4 PM at the OsnabrückHalle. The well-known energy-saving commissioner and YouTuber Carsten Herbert, along with EU heat pump advisor Anja Floetenmeyer-Woltmann, will provide neutral and manufacturer-independent information about heating system replacement and clarify existing prejudices against heat pumps. Registrations for the free event are now possible at www.waermepumpen-infotag.de. “The Heat Pump Information Day offers a unique consulting opportunity for many citizens, especially regarding municipal heat planning,” says Mayor Katharina Pötter. “This has shown that decentralized heating solutions are best suited for the majority of Osnabrück. And in the future, these will primarily be heat pumps.” Energy-saving commissioner Carsten Herbert will explain how homeowners can determine their energy needs, save on heating costs, and choose a system: “There is a suitable heat pump for every house.” Anja Floetenmeyer-Woltmann will inform about legal requirements, the economically best timing, and how to approach such a project. Visitors will receive concrete tips and will be informed about costs, financing, and subsidies afterward. Local consulting and funding offers will round off the evening. Local crafts and installation companies will be present at the event, available for individual discussions. They represent leading manufacturers such as Buderus, Daikin, LG, Midea, NIBE, Panasonic, Stiebel Eltron, Viessmann, and many others at information booths. The event is part of a nationwide series with ten dates and is supported by the Federal Association of Heat Pumps (bwp) and the Sparkasse Osnabrück. The city of Osnabrück organizes it in collaboration with the district of Osnabrück and the district of Steinfurt. Several hundred visitors are expected at each event (the energy-saving commissioner's record event so far was in Stuttgart with 1,200 guests). Schedule: 4:00 PM Entry & Start of Consultation Marathon 6:00 PM Start of Stage Program 8:30 PM End of Event.
