Short bog train ride

Do you want to experience the Ahlenmoor but don't have much time? Then this short tour is just right for you! On this trip, you will explore two of the four stops and get an exciting first glimpse into the unique landscape of the largest raised bog in the Cuxland region. The route is shortened, and the explanations about the bog are intentionally kept compact – ideal if you want a quick yet impressive impression of the bog's natural environment. The two stops that are deeper within the nature reserve will be skipped on this tour, meaning that only part of the track will be used. With a short travel time of around 75 minutes, this bog train ride is suitable for everyone. Especially on very cold or very hot days, this compact tour is a pleasant alternative to the longer ride. Registration for groups of 12 or more can be made by calling 04778 81200. We also have spaces available for guests in wheelchairs. Unfortunately, online ticketing is not possible in this case! Dogs are not allowed on the bog train! In extreme weather conditions, cancellations may occur.
