The monks themselves were not particularly inclined towards magic and spell rituals, yet many parallels can be drawn to Professor Snape's potion ingredients and Professor Sprout's greenhouse. Magical creatures and witches, as well as monsters and demons, were not unknown to the monks. The tour will explain how they protected themselves and what tools Muggles had against the dark beings of the night in the Middle Ages. This event is part of the Spiritual Autumn of the Harz Monasteries. Note: Children only accompanied by adults – supervision is the responsibility of the adults. If there is particularly high interest, we are happy to offer a second tour if needed.
