The elite class in a tradition that has lasted for almost 2000 years was the case binding with multiple layers of paper. This form of bookbinding allowed for double-sided writing on the pages, which was of great importance for the dissemination of writings in the Middle Ages. The modern embodiment of this is today's hardcover. At the end of the workshop, you will hold a book for your own thoughts or notes in your hands, which also makes for a unique gift.
