In 2009, he secured 3rd place in the singer-songwriter competition at the international guitar festival "Open Strings" in Osnabrück, led by Peter Finger. In 2010, he won 1st place in the nationwide creative competition "Songlive," organized by the Singer Academy Hamburg, under the patronage of none other than Heinz Rudolf Kunze.
