Join us as the medieval market at the Osnabrück Ring Wall opens its gates for the sixth time from August 14 to 16, 2026! This year, you can look forward to the popular attractions that have delighted our visitors for years: several fantastic bands, fabulous jugglers, spectacular sword fighters, exciting knight tournaments, and a variety of merchants, food vendors, and taverns! We are pleased to announce that we will be lowering our admission prices next year to make them more family-friendly. Additionally, we will once again invite children's and disability organizations in 2026 to experience an unforgettable, free day at our medieval market with their protégés. Come and experience the fascinating world of the Middle Ages up close – we look forward to seeing you!

A place that transported people to a bygone era, full of adventures and captivating stories. This place was the medieval market at the Osnabrück Ring Wall, and this year we are already ringing in the sixth round. We have made you happy in the past years, and now we look forward to welcoming you again in 2026 at our market. But this time, we have something very special prepared for you: a grand knight tournament on horseback with a fire show and a large stage! The marketplace extends over an impressive area of more than 3.5 hectares, bustling with activity. The huge field serves as a parking lot, and there is a large campsite for all those who want to fully experience this time travel.

The highlights of this year's market are: Knight tournament and fire show on horseback: Marvel at a breathtaking knight tournament with up to five majestic horses and let yourself be thrilled in the late evening by a spectacular fire show on horseback. Stage full of medieval sounds: Enjoy the captivating atmosphere on our stage, where traditional dances, enthralling fire shows, and impressive musical performances will transport you to another time. The various merchants offer a wide range of products, including soap, sweets, honey products, wooden goods, swords, combat gear for young and old, herb salt, berry wines, artisans, jewelry, incense, drinking horns, goldsmiths, bone carvings, leather goods, clothing, pottery, and much more. With this lineup, we aim to transport you to another world for a full three days and provide a fantastic time travel experience.

Our performers will present knight tournaments, fire shows, traditional dances, archery & crossbow shooting for young and old, sword fighting in a specially constructed combat arena, magic, juggling, falconry, a children's carousel, children's entertainment, an extensive music program, and many other surprises. Additionally, a variety of food vendors will offer culinary delights, ranging from hearty to rustic, vegetarian, and even vegan options. To quench your thirst, you will find a variety of enchanting drinks at the various taverns, and there are delicious and healthy drinks available for our younger guests. There will be plenty of seating and shaded areas throughout the grounds so you can relax in between and feel comfortable all around. To present the exquisite supporting program, we will set up a stage to provide all performers and artists with an appropriate platform. The campsite will open on Friday, August 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM, allowing campers to set up in peace before the event and start the weekend relaxed. Portable toilets and a washing station will be available to you around the clock.
