Yuval Sharon, hailed by the New York Times as "the most visionary opera director of his generation," will direct the long-awaited new production of Wagner's Tristan and Isolde. With Lise Davidsen and Michael Spyres, two electrifying stars will take the stage at the Met, and one can already look forward to the highlight of the opera, Isolde's famous final aria Mild und leise ("Liebestod").
