Duo Praxedis Join us on a musical journey through the styles of chamber music and classical music that touches the soul. Two instruments, one heartbeat: harp and piano. This special combination is exactly what the two Praxedis love. You can hear it in every note. Harpist Praxedis Hug-Rütti and pianist Praxedis Geneviève Hug form the Duo Praxedis and have been enchanting their audience for years with a sound world that is sometimes gentle like a North Sea breeze, sometimes powerful like a strong headwind. Their mission? To breathe new life into a nearly forgotten ensemble. Harp and piano were true crowd favorites between 1780 and 1915: These golden sounds are what the duo is bringing back to the stage. With a lot of passion, skill, and a healthy dose of enthusiasm, they regularly perform concerts that captivate. In short: That is music with soul. Performance times for Duo Praxedis in Juist: The Duo Praxedis performs from Tuesday, September 22, to Sunday, September 27, usually twice a day at the Kurplatz. Please refer to the announcements on-site for the exact performance times. In case of bad weather, efforts will be made to move the concerts to the House of the Spa Guest. Töwerland Concerts in Juist From June to the end of September, musical sounds fill the streets of the island of Juist. The Töwerland concerts are here! Different bands stay on the island for a week and perform two concerts a day at the Kurplatz. The music is meant to be calm, creating an atmosphere for listening and enjoying, not necessarily a concert for celebrating.
