Equipped with a guitar and a penchant for disappointed expectations, Bätz finds comedy in the tragic and provokes both gentle and crude fits of laughter as well as caught smiles from the audience. By now, St. Pauli has become his home, and Bätz has finally found his place in the German comedy and music scene. Armed with a beard, guitar, and a slight tendency towards disappointed expectations, the comedian and musician entertains with his own songs and a loose tongue, always demonstrating a keen sense of little restraint. Sometimes gentle and sometimes coarse, he discovers the humor in the tragic and knows how to shake and move his audience like no one else.
