The artist couple moved from Copenhagen to Zeitz in southern Saxony-Anhalt in 2021, among other reasons, because they found a real vibrancy in the East German province between abandoned architecture and still-present authenticity, which serves as a reservoir of inspiration for them artistically. With their freshly released album and their videos for "Portraits of Invisible Places," they channeled this intention into a truly unique art project. They created 10 small, delicate kaleidoscopes of the poetic reflection of newly discovered East German places, including skylines in Zeitz, rainbows in Hoyerswerda, dances in Eisenhüttenstadt, and Last Hearts in Deuben. The encounters with and within these locations transform into a perfectly arranged, creative interplay: The sound tapestry of their pop songs, spread out with melody, harmony, and a sense of sound, is transformed by Line's warm voice into a tonal wonder box of stories, filled with a tangible and engaged interest in these places. The fascinating imagery of their lyrics corresponds with Christian's imaginative video and drawing art, creating touching pop art with grand storytelling.
