Songs & Cabaret in the Kniki: Aunt texts, Uncle songs – Uncle texts, Aunt songs

"Chansons and Cabaret" – this already traditional joint event of the Literary Society of Salzgitter and the Literature Office of the City of Salzgitter will take place on the second Sunday afternoon in February, this time under the motto "Aunt Texts, Uncle Songs – Uncle Texts, Aunt Songs." Majimbi Mergner (vocals), accompanied on the piano by Elkmar Winter, Aneka Viering (recitation), and Björn Försterling (recitation) will present chansons and cabaret texts that focus on uncles and aunts, some of which were even written by them. Since many people have uncles and aunts and/or are familiar with the reverse perspective, there was a vast repertoire from which cabaret artists and chanson writers drew to entertain their contemporaries and successors, and perhaps a little bit themselves as well. This is a cooperative event of the Literary Society of Salzgitter e. V. and the Literature Office in the Cultural Department of the City of Salzgitter. Admission: 14 euros (including coffee/tea and cake).
