An installative and interactive theater project A Landscape of Apples in Sunshine: The furrows in the ground, carved by the water, glisten. Clouds drift over the audience. Birdsong resonates all around. A gentle wind can be heard. Bowls of water with hermit crabs are scattered throughout the space. The crabs crawl out of their shells and tentatively search for food. As soon as a person approaches, they immediately retreat into their homes. The large and small visitors are invited to discover and observe, to marvel and to understand. Then the landscape of apples darkens, and a roar can be heard from next door. A storm is brewing… The project "FLOODING" is an intermedial theater project that brings the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Wadden Sea closer to visitors aged 3 and up. For this, we transfer a mudflat hike into the interior of the small theater Lazarett in Aurich.
