"Big walls, small sizes" with KAYMAN (street art artist)

Wall-sized murals meet handy formats: In the exhibition "Big walls, small sizes," the regionally renowned street artist KAYMAN from Wolfsburg presents his urban works for the first time in a solo exhibition in Braunschweig. The show opens an exciting perspective shift between street, art, and urban identity. The art association bskunst will present the exhibition from January 10 to February 7, 2026, at Séparée, Böcklerstraße 7, 38102 Braunschweig. The artist will be on site from 11 AM to 2 PM on the following days: January 17, 24, and 31, as well as February 7 and 13. Admission is free. Otherwise, the works can be seen as a window exhibition. Many art enthusiasts are already familiar with the artist through his mural in Hall 267 as part of the exhibition KunstHoch17.

In addition to the gallery-format works, the exhibition offers a documentary look at street art in public spaces. Photographs of the large-format murals will be presented alongside information about their respective locations. This creates an exciting dialogue between ephemeral art on the street and permanent artwork in the exhibition space. The artist is active throughout Germany and is represented in art galleries, city centers, on buildings, and in museums. His works range from wall-sized murals to fine, detailed street art pieces that are now the focus of this exhibition. Visitors will gain insights into the techniques, materials, and processes of street art – and learn how large murals find their way onto facades and walls.
