Blues in the Kniki: Jimmy Reiter Band

Since 2010, the Jimmy Reiter Band has been touring club and festival stages to bring their version of modern electric urban blues to the public, for which they have made a name for themselves in the scene. Jimmy Reiter spent over ten years as the guitarist for American blues singer and harmonica player Doug Jay, as well as various other international blues artists, before releasing his debut album as a frontman, "High Priest Of Nothing," in 2011. The album received multiple awards, including the "Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik" (German Record Critics' Award), CD of the Month in "bluesnews," and several other accolades. Like the debut album, the current CD has also received top marks everywhere, including once again the coveted "Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik." The CD "LIVE" showcases the Jimmy Reiter Band in the Kniestedter Church. This year's concert is the seventh concert in the laboratory since 2012 and impressively demonstrates that the band is always happy to return to the KniKi in Salzgitter! The hall has partial seating. There is no guarantee of a seat. The venue is wheelchair accessible. Doors open at 7 PM.
