International Fredener Music Days

In its 35th anniversary season, the festival is dedicated to the close connection between music and movement. The program ranges from baroque dances, romantic waltzes, and Slavic polkas to flamenco, tango, dance from West Africa, and jazz ballet, culminating in contemporary performances. International top ensembles such as Salaputia Brass, delian quartet, Apollo’s Cabinet, BachWerkVokal Salzburg, Tango Nuevo Quintet, as well as the festival ensemble camerata freden, will provide a diverse concert offering. Collaborations with dancers and choreographers – including the Hamburg Chamber Ballet and István Szabó – will further impressively showcase the festival theme.
