He has a huge fan base all over the country, including in the Samtgemeinde and the entire Leinebergland: bestselling author Klaus-Peter Wolf. The Leine-Deister-Zeitung (LDZ) has invited the likable East Frisian to a musical crime reading on Friday, July 17, 2026, at the Eimer multipurpose hall. His wife, Bettina Göschl, a successful children's book author and children's songwriter herself, will accompany him musically on the guitar in the multipurpose hall. A black-and-red notebook, his fountain pen, and some East Frisian tea, coffee, or chocolate are all he needs to dive into another world, his world of East Frisian crime novels. His books, published by the renowned S. Fischer Verlag, have been translated into almost 30 languages and sold millions of copies. For the 20th time, he has managed to reach number 1 on the Spiegel bestseller list with a crime novel featuring Chief Inspector Ann Kathrin Klaasen. He is awarded a prize almost every year. Recently, he received the Media Control Premium Award in Stuttgart as the most successful crime author of the years 2024 and 2025. Klaus-Peter Wolf will bring "Sommerfeldt Solo – The Assignment" to Eime. It is the first volume of his new summer series featuring Dr. Bernhard Sommerfeld, the perfect holiday reading against the dream backdrop of the East Frisian coast. What has happened? The events in Borkum have deeply shaken Dr. Bernhard Sommerfeldt. Now the time has come to take action against organized crime in East Friesland and on the islands. But for that, he needs a good plan, as the new gangster boss, whom they call the "Brazilian," operates in a highly sophisticated manner. He has a well-known ally: Chief Inspector Rupert, and they now share a common interest in the East Frisian coast. Pure tension, dark humor, and unmistakable protagonists make the first volume of the new trilogy a unique reading experience. The musical crime reading promises an entertaining evening and plenty of East Frisian blues from Bettina Göschl for the audience. It starts at 8:00 PM with free seating. The multipurpose hall will be open from 6:30 PM. Tickets for the Wolf-Göschl evening are available at the LDZ customer center (publishing house), Junkernstraße 13 in Gronau, online at www.veranstaltungen-leinetal24.de or www.hitix.de/ldz. They cost 23 euros (regular price) and 19 euros (reduced price for people with disabilities (50%, with proof) and accompanying persons with a B certificate). A special "Young-People-Ticket" is available for 12 euros for students, teenagers, apprentices, and university students. An "East Frisian plate" with delicious finger food can be added to the ticket for 8 euros. The plate is also available in a vegetarian version.
