Exhibition Thomas Dompke Always Forward... In the Tillyhaus, Thomas Dompke presents a cross-section of his works from recent years. His painting began autodidactically. Participation in art courses with the artist Ursula Weigelt was a milestone in his artistic development. The expansion of skills in various painting techniques, both in breadth and depth, and especially the realization of total freedom in creation, is essential. Two focal points have emerged: on one hand, abstract painting, where there are no limitations on the materials used. On the other hand, representational painting, particularly still lifes, where, in contrast to the abstract, a certain precision in representation is desired. Thomas Dompke is a member of Spektrum – Freies Kunststudio Salzgitter e.V. Opening: The exhibition will be inaugurated on March 31, 2026, at 7:00 PM in the small gallery at Tillyhaus, Salzgitter-Bad, Marienplatz 12.
