In the heart of Bremen's city, right on the marketplace, you can find the Town Hall and Roland. This absolutely worth-seeing ensemble is recognized by UNESCO as a remarkable representation of the development of civic autonomy and sovereignty, and therefore deserves a place on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
