German Mill Day: 1st Baking Day with Tours and Refreshments at Rhaude Mill

Since the topping-out ceremony of the renovated two-story gallery windmill in 1998, the Möhlenkring Rhaude-Holte e.V. has participated in the nationwide "German Mill Day" every Whit Monday. On this day, the two-story gallery windmill in Rhaude will be open for visits from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and interested visitors will have the opportunity to participate in a guided tour led by an expert. In the brick oven of the baking house, the baking team will prepare various breads, which will be available for purchase starting at 11:00 AM. In the mill, in the tent, and throughout the mill grounds, numerous guests will be served tea, coffee, homemade cakes, freshly baked breads, grilled sausages, and fries. Beer and cold drinks can be ordered at the beverage stand. Several hobby craftsmen will showcase their work. There will also be activities for children to round off the program.
