Course at the VHS Salzgitter: Love, Anger, and Stomachaches. My Mother and I

What do you know about your mother? How did she grow up? I would like to engage the participants of this event in a conversation about their often conflict-laden relationship with their mothers. Various factors still influence our relationship today and have an impact on us, even as adults. We will share difficult and possibly traumatic experiences from our mothers' pasts to better understand why they are the way they are. Why we grew up with a mother who was unloving, emotionally distant, or lacking in empathy. I also want to discuss transgenerational conflicts in the daughter/son-mother relationship with you. This event does not provide psychological or psychotherapeutic counseling or therapy, but active participation and exchange are explicitly encouraged. The instructor, Ms. Boldt, is a recognized alternative practitioner for psychotherapy as well as a systemic family counselor and therapist.
