Hann. Münden celebrates the diversity of beer: 6th Beer Festival on May 8 and 9, 2026 For the sixth time, Hann. Münden invites you to the popular Beer Festival. On May 8 and 9, 2026, Dielengraben, located directly between the Werra River and Welfenschloss, will once again transform into a delightful meeting place for beer lovers from near and far. Regional brewing art at its best: Visitors can look forward to the most unusual and finest creations from the participating breweries. Tradition meets modernity: "The tradition of brewing beer in Hann. Münden dates back to the 16th century," explains Matthias Biroth, managing director of Hann. Münden Marketing GmbH and initiator of the Beer Festival. "The festival brings this history into the present while also responding to the current demand for individual and flavorful beer varieties." Two days full of enjoyment: On both festival days, visitors can sample various types of beer from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM, discover new flavors, and engage in conversations with the brewers. A diverse lineup of live music will provide excellent entertainment, featuring Stromfrei (May 8) and Feierklang (May 9). Non-alcoholic alternatives and hearty food: To ensure that beer enjoyment doesn’t lead to headaches the next morning, non-alcoholic beers and various non-alcoholic drinks will be available.
