Surreal Metamorphoses - Airbrush Works and Paintings by Michael Porzelt

The Braunschweig artist Michael Porzelt studied graphic design with a focus on illustration at the University of Applied Sciences Hildesheim-Holzminden. This led to the project "Surreal Metamorphoses." The inspiration came from the book "Wonder World of Beetles" by Bernhard Klausnitzer, which presents interesting occurrences regarding the use of beetles in human history. The surreal illustrations were created using airbrush and mixed techniques. The exhibition is complemented by acrylic paintings on canvas and wooden panels from his own studio.
