Until March, many tens of thousands of geese and ducks of various species rest in the Dümmerniederung. Before they migrate to their northern breeding grounds, they can be well observed in the Ochsenmoor. During a hike through the Ochsenmoor, we will experience these northern winter guests. The low moor with its re-wetted meadows is an important habitat for resting birds in winter and is of international significance. This unique habitat will be explored during the nature tour. Please bring your own binoculars! Registration is required at Tel. 0163-7052100 or via email: umweltbildung@naturschutzring.com. Duration is approximately 2.5 hours.
