Culture Gulfhof Freepsum: Vagabond Klezmer Band

The Vagabund Klezmer band consists of six distinctive personalities with diverse backgrounds in rock/pop, jazz, and classical music. The musicians came together during their studies at the Lübeck University of Music and collectively turned to Klezmer. With their cross-genre arrangements and compositions, they give traditional music a contemporary touch. They pour all their passion into the music that moves them. In their studio album released in 2024, they passionately, devotedly, and experimentally tell stories of home and the search for a place to belong.

The program "Zephyrus" brings a fresh breeze to the music scene with its cross-genre arrangements and compositions. Full of passion, dedication, and a spirit of experimentation, the six musicians carve their own path, breaking free from traditional constraints, becoming seekers themselves, turning inward, and raising their voices loudly and decisively.
